Owner / Coach
Kelly has had a lifelong passion for health and fitness. She has a degree in Psychology from Baylor University, is a certified nutrition coach, and is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. After spending 20 years in the big corporate gyms and being bored with the workouts and not seeing the results she wanted, she decided to try CrossFit. She instantly fell in love with the programming and community. Wanting to provide the CrossFit methodology in such a fun and supportive environment is what led her into gym ownership. She thrives on helping and seeing others improve and witnessing the bonds that are created here at CrossFit Wylie.

After receiving his Bachelors in Psychology from UT Dallas, Steve’s aspirations to help others led him to pursue a path in Physical Therapy. During his studies and hours spent volunteering, he began personal training and fell in love with the process of helping individuals grow stronger, more resilient, and overcome challenges in which they thought were impossible. A year later he decided to pursue after his passions of coaching and personal training. He has accumulated over 2,000 hours of individual/group training sessions and is eager to continue to learn as much as he can to help others achieve their fitness and health goals.
Steve has been a member of CrossFit Wylie since 2017 and loves the community and comradery that CrossFit Wylie has brought into his life. He’s excited to have the opportunity everyday to show others what their potential is!
Travis started CrossFit on his own before joining CrossFit Wylie in January of 2013. He is a certified paramedic for the Medical Center of Plano and is currently attending RN school. Growing up, Travis played football and baseball. Travis takes great pride in training properly and is a perfectionist when it comes to technique. Now he is finding his true passion of leading others towards their fitness goals.

Tammy is a native Texan, living in this area for over 35 years. Mother of 6, grandmother of 2. In her youth she spent time as an EMT-B with AMR, serving Balch Springs FD and Dallas County. Currently employed for over 15 years at Texas Health Allen, and is currently one of the head Administrators of the emergency department.
Tammy followed her Husband Ron into the world of CrossFit in 2013. Her passion is inspiring others and assisting them in making the same life-changing improvements that she has made, and takes pride in making her classes as fun as possible.

Anne is a Texas girl 100%. Born and raised in the Dallas area, she resides in Wylie with her two daughters, Grace and Amelia. Anne grew up very involved in dance and drill team. After becoming a mom she became an active member in the running and triathlon community training for endurance races. She was first introduced to Crossfit in 2015 when an ankle sprain brought her to physical therapy with Dr. Laura Coker. Anne has a deep passion for understanding the body through biomechanics and physical movement to improve strength, form, function, and prevent injury. After achieving her Level 1 trainer certification she spent two years coaching swimmers as a USA swim coach through a DFW swim group. Life brought her back to CrossFit Wylie in 2018 as an active member. For Anne, CrossFit is more than just a way of being fit, CrossFit Wylie has become an extended family. Anne loves training our younger athletes in our CrossFit Kids program and believes fitness through a fun and encouraging environment is the building block to a lifetime of health.

Born and raised in Dallas/Mesquite, Robert has been a resident of Murphy since 2005. A former sergeant in the United States Marine Corp, Robert enjoys helping others reach personal goals. Robert has been coaching Crossfit and Olympic lifting since 2014. Robert has been focusing mainly on the Olympic lifts since 2018, competing at local, state and national events.

Jeff was born and raised in Northern Kentucky. He discovered Crossfit in 2012 after signing up for a GORUCK Challenge.
After relocating to Texas with his young family he quickly joined Crossfit Wylie (as one of our earliest members). His passion to learn and then teach quickly led to him becoming one of our first coaches. By 2013 the Olympic Weightlifting bug had fully taken hold, and that has been his focus ever since. Jeff continued coaching Crossfit classes and Weightlifting classes/seminars with Crossfit Wylie up until May 2019.
Later that same Jeff (along with Robert Hernandez) opened a weightlifting gym allowing them to focus on growing the sport of weightlifting by making it accessible to as many people as possible.
In April of 2021 Anchored & Risen Barbell club moved from its home in Plano to Crossfit Wylie bringing Jeff back to Crossfit Wylie as well.
He brings years of weightlifting coaching experience to our community, and is excited to grow the sport of weightlifting with us at Crossfit Wylie
Liz started CrossFit on her own before joining CrossFit Wylie in May of 2017. She is a Registered Nurse currently on sabbatical to be a stay at home mom. She is married and has 3 kids. Growing up, Liz was not athletically inclined but was encouraged by her husband to join the CrossFit family. Since then, Liz has been challenged to get healthy and strong and has been motivated when she sees results and achieves new personal records. Taking care of 3 little ones daily, Liz wants to be healthy for her kids and she really wants them to love exercise.
John has lived in Wylie for 20 years and has been a member of CrossFit Wylie since November of 2013. He has worked at AT&T for 15 years and is currently an account executive, specializing in government and education telecom sales. John is married to his 5th grade girlfriend and has 3 kids, ages 14, 12, and 9. He grew up playing baseball, basketball, soccer, and running track. He loves being in nature and spends most of his free time mountain biking, golfing, and trail building. Passionate about inspiring others to grow and reach their potential, John enjoys coaching athletes of all ages, from children to adults.
