Our group training program is designed to meet the needs of our large and varied community, which includes members of our military, full-time moms, doctors, lawyers, police officers, fire fighters, business executives, accomplished athletes, and retired grandparents. Regardless of how you earn an income or your current fitness level, you will benefit from the coaching at CrossFit Wylie.

Supportive community

Group training is the perfect solution for the individual looking for a supportive, motivating community that shares their desire to be healthier and happier.

Fraction of the Cost of Personal Training

Group training allows our members to work with professional coaches for a fraction of the investment. In our group sessions, participants will be lead by our expert coaches through multiple phases of fitness and recovery:

  • Mobility drills to improve and restore joint mobility and function;
  • Skill-based warm-up to prepare the body for the workout;
  • The Workout of the Day (WOD) – which might be any combination of gymnastics, running, jumping, squatting, kettlebells, weightlifting, and more;
  • Post-workout recovery techniques to prepare you for the rest of your day and for your next workout.

Goal-Based Programming

Simply put, our programs are designed to improve our members’ health and fitness in the way that is most meaningful for their needs and desires.

Everyone walking through our doors has a vast range of personal goals and ability levels, and our group training program is designed with the flexibility to meet those needs. While not as specific as an individualized program designed just for you (also available to our members), our group training program provides our members with an infinite number of options to maximize the effectiveness of each day’s training:

“Scaled / Prescribed / Advanced” – These “workouts of the day” are designed to promote and enhance your health and fitness. During a WOD, participants are exposed to a wide variety of movements with a focus on proper mechanics. These workouts are great for beginners because they focus on movement quality and intensity, but . . . they are not just for beginners. Like all of our workout options, these workouts are infinitely scalable and can be made as easy or as difficult as one could imagine.

I’ve never felt better in my life! Finally, I’ve found a fitness regimen that works…and is producing the results I wish I could have obtained in my 20’s and 30’s! I played football thru high school, spent my 20’s snow skiing (taught one season as PSIA instructor), and windsurfing…and I think about how much better of an athlete or competitor I would have been if I had this type of training/fitness program back then!

I started Crossfit Wylie 3 months ago after coming from another box. The coaching is awesome and the CFW community is even better. Everyone is very encouraging and is there to motivate and help you meet your fitness goal. Whether you’re a beginner to fitness, haven’t exercised in some time or a regular at the gym this place will push you and help you meet your goals. It’s truly a gym for any fitness level.
