Lights, Camera, Action!
Tuesday, a professional film crew will be at all of the classes producing a short film about CrossFit Wylie that we will be using for a few different things. I’m asking everyone to show up! Even if you have a 3-day membership, you get a pass for next week, the more athletes the better!
They would like to do short interviews with a few members. If you have a good success story or would like to tell people why CrossFit Wylie is so freaking awesome, let me know via email (firstname.lastname@example.org)!
People outside the gym will see this. Lots of people. Dress to impress, but it will be edited to highlight good moments, so don’t worry about looking bad, it’s their job to make you look good. So just be yourself and pretend they aren’t there unless you are asked to say a few words, or do something cool looking. If you don’t want to be on camera, we will start a opt-out list and they will edit you out.
This is going to be a lot of fun, and should be a awesome finished product, but it won’t be possible without help from our best feature, the members. Thank you in advance for your support and participation. Please let me know if you have questions.
Hang clean – 3RM then 2×3@90% of 3RM
Don’t go to failure, just find heavy set of 3 at or near your 3RM. You will go heavier next week. 18 minute cap.
5 Rounds for Time (15 min cap):
7 Deadlifts (65% of 1RM)
30 Air Squats
7 Strict HSPU
Scale deadlift to 65% of 1RM. HSPU Rx is strict w/ plates and abmat, scale by kipping or subbing with DB shoulder press.
Every two minutes for 16 minutes (8 rounds):
2 Power Snatch at 70% (of 1RM Snatch)
20 Double Unders
2 Ring Muscle Ups (bar if you don’t have ring MU)
