9:30AM SATURDAY TEAM WORKOUT
This week I’ve had a lot of conversations with the ladies about weight loss and bikini season. The conversation usually goes something like this…
Them: “I don’t want to get bulky, will CrossFit make me bulky?”
My Response: “It will make you stronger, and you will gain muscle and muscle tone, but you won’t turn into a body builder over night.”
Them: “Should I lift less weight then?”
Well here’s my official response from now on. If you think a strong girl like the one in blue, doesn’t look good, your crazy, and mabye you need to stick with the treadmill. If you think you want to look like this one day, pay for the next three months and get on with it…
This, by the way, is Camille Leblanc-Bazinet, she weighs a 128 pounds and can put 170lbs over her head, and she finished top 10 in the CrossFit games last year. Of course there are more examples of regular girls.
And the same goes for the fellas, but looking up before and after pictures of dudes isn’t as fun.
Anywho… the point is, let’s focus on being athletic. Let’s increase your strength, stamina, agility, coordination, speed, flexiblity, and the other factors. Let’s get healthier by lifting heavy, doing high intensity workouts, and eating right, AND I PROMISE, THE LOOKS WILL COME WITH THE INCREASED HEALTH AND ATHLETIC PROWESS.
