Friday Night Lights!
A couple things… please remember there are only three classes, 530AM, 830AM, Noon on Friday due to Friday Night Lights. You can find the Heats for Friday night HERE

Here are some FAQs and Notes about The Open.
– First, The Open is for you. It’s not to prove anything to someone else. It’s for you to have fun, to test your fitness, to meet your goals and set new goals for a new year. Nerves are good. They mean you are still alive and doing something that matters to you. Embrace them and do something awesome!
– Second, don’t treat it different. The last thing you should do is eat something different than you normally eat or change what you normally do. Treat it like a normal workout. Warm up well and do the workout. Keep it simple.
– Friday Night we want everyone to show up as early as possible and stay to support all of the athletes. Each Heat is responsible for judging another Heat. We understand if you can’t get there early or can’t stay late, but we hope we have a ton people there all night. And Friends and Family are more than welcome. We just ask that parents do the best they can to help keep the kids safe. CrossFit Wylie is not providing child care and is not responsible for kids. (Had to say it.)
– Team shirts are being sold by the gym. We probably won’t have extra. We will charge your Wodify accounts the $15 after you receive your shirt.
– There is NOT a Scaled Division, everyone is ranked together. Each week there will be an Rx option and Scaled option, but everyone gets ranked on the same leaderboard. If you do the scaled workout you will be ranked lower than everyone that did the Rx workout for that week. But you will still have a choice to go Rx the following weeks. Besides, it shouldn’t matter. Everyone scales something. I’ve seen Games Athletes not be able to complete workouts at the Games and fail rep after rep. It happens. Like I mentioned earlier, test your fitness and set new goals. That’s all you can do.
