Game Plan

“If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”  – This is something that was preached to me by several of the coaches and role models over the course of my life and it can be applied to tackling your dietary goals. When you go to the store, you need to have a plan that allows you to only buy what you need for your meals. It takes out the guesswork of what you’re going to eat throughout each day and keeps tempting junk out of your pantry that in a moment of weakness can derail your gains. Figure out and write down the ingredients and quantities you’ll need to make your desired number of meals that will last you for several days at a time. When you go to the grocery store you’ll be able to breeze through and only pick up what’s needed on your list without deviation.

Pro Tip- eat before going to the store. Those chips and queso are way less tempting to throw in your cart when you’re not hungry.
